For this list, we have selected the ones with stunning landscapes, quick access to the beach and best characteristics of a good Portuguese Camping Sote. 

Urban Art Camping
A well-kept secret between Baleal and Almagreira beaches and close to the city of Peniche, Urban Art Caming is a recent Camping Site, with rental or camping facilities, located close to touristic locations like Óbidos and sandy beaches known for the practice of nautical sports, throughout the year.

Campimeco Sesimbra
Located in Sesimbra, by “Praia das Bicas” in “Aldeia do Meco”, one of the most popular beaches on the Portuguese west coast, with beautiful views from the cliffs. 
Also looked for the practice of several sports like surf and bodyboard.
The Camping Site is located in one of the cliffs, providing a unique view over the ocean and sunsets.

Berlenga Island Camping Site
A completely different and considered as “the coolest Camping Park in Europe” by The Times! Located on the island of Berlenga, it is open only during the high season, with the necessary sea crossing. 

Forte do Cavalo Municipal Camping Site
Who has never heard of Ribeira do Cavalo Beach? This is an ideal Camping Site for those who like adventure. The suggestion is to take the way to the beach by a rail or by boat.
The Camping Site is large and has a space entirely dedicated to groups.

Pessegueiro Island Camping Site
The Camping Site of Ilha do Pessegueiro is located in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, with a beautiful ocean view and very close to Porto Covo. It has a generous space for tents and a swimming pool. 

Camping Galé, Bailarina Beach
This Camping Site is located on the Costa Alentejana, in Fontaínhas do Mar, near Melides.
Camping Galé has a direct path to Praia da Galé. 
It has a swimming pool with plenty of shade, so comfort and calm will not be lacking in your stay.

Camping Gala
Situated in the heart of the Mata de Lavos, near Figueira da Foz, this Camping Site is only 400 meters away from a nice beach, with a direct sandy access to the Camping Site, through the pine forest.

It has also a swimming pool, tennis courts, supermarket, restaurant and laundry.

Viana do Castelo Camping Site
Located in the Cabedelo area, close to the center of Viana do Castelo, has direct access to the beach, space for tents with good shadows and bungalows.
The windy beach is popular for water sports, such as windsurfing and kitesurfing.
It has also a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, supermarket and laundry.

Campigir São Pedro de Moel
Located in São Pedro de Moel, Marinha Grande, overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal.
The tranquility of the place, watched day and night by the lighthouse that stands out from the nature around it, makes this Camping Site the ideal place to (re)find balance and energy.
With a wide area for tents, caravans and motorhomes, it also has teepees, mini-homes and bungalows. 

Rio Alto Camping Site
Located in Estela, Póvoa de Varzim, this Camping Site has a very unusual access to the beach, a passage under a golf course, right on the Costa Verde.
With an area for tents and bungalows, also has a swimming pool, mini market, restaurant and bar.
